Company History

The firm was established in August of 1984 and licensed in the state of Florida during that time.  The President is Steve Sessler, who has extensive experience in various divisions within the Miami-Dade Police Department.  Mr. Sessler was a detective with the Miami-Dade Police Homicide Section, during which time, he developed excellent skills dealing with conducting interviews and taking sworn statements.  

We specialize in performing detailed background research concerning mergers and insurance defense work on behalf of clients and insurance companies. Throughout the company's history, we have conducted surveillances on behalf of insurance companies. Our company has the capacity of administering surveillances throughout the State of Florida.  

The firm has specifically focused, although not exclusively, on insurance defense work, relating to accident investigations, wrongful death, security liability, injuries sustained at work sites, and homicides on insured properties.  Additionally, we have been utilized by various insurance companies that represent the property owners of apartment complexes and shopping centers.  We have been assigned to evaluate specific situations where violent acts took place and determine the liability and damages.   

Mr. Sessler has testified as an expert in the area of background research and is thoroughly familiar with all legal steps needed for the retrieval of public record documents. All information developed as a result of our investigations are outlined in detailed reports which are prepared in a timely fashion. Additionally, we have the ability to handle cases where Spanish speaking investigators are needed.
